How Careforce works
Duties, the AI workers that run them and what your team sees.
Careforce takes on a defined piece of your team's work, such as calling every member who has a Medicaid renewal due. We set it up as a duty. Angelica⟡ and David⟡ run the duty every day, and your team follows the results in the Careforce platform.
What a duty is
A duty is one repeatable workflow. It holds:
- Who to reach. The members or patients in scope, from a file you send or a system David⟡ reads.
- What to say. A script and set of approved answers, based on your own SOPs and job aids.
- What to do. Actions during the conversation, such as booking an appointment, verifying identity or sending a link by text.
- When to hand off. The topics and requests that go to your staff, and where to send them.
- What counts as done. The outcomes to record and send back to you.
Every duty runs the same loop:

The AI workers
Angelica⟡ is the voice and text agent. She calls and texts members, answers inbound calls, verifies identity before she discusses anything personal, and transfers to your staff when a member asks for a person or the topic is outside her script.
David⟡ is the data analyst. He gathers the data a duty needs from the portals, records systems and files your team already uses. He also answers questions about your operations in plain language and draws reports and charts.
What your team sees
The Careforce platform shows the work as it happens:
- Duties. Each duty, its script and its version history.
- Calls and Messages. Every call and text thread, with the recording, the transcript and the outcome.
- Data. The clients, appointments, providers and files that duties use.
- Connections and Data Sources. The status of each system Careforce reads from and each file it receives.
