TCPA consent

How consent, quiet hours and opt-outs are honored for calls and texts.

The Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) limits automated calls and texts.1 Careforce contacts a member only when your records allow it, and stops as soon as the member asks.

How each contact is checked

Every call and every text runs these checks at send time, not when the duty starts.

Who does what

StepWhoWhat
CollectYour organizationConsent is captured at enrollment or intake and sent with the member record
CheckCareforceEach contact checks consent, opt-outs, quiet hours in the member's time zone and frequency limits
SuppressCareforceMembers who already completed the task, such as a finished renewal, are removed from outreach when your status file updates
RevokeThe memberTexting STOP, or asking to stop during a call, ends contact at once2
ReportCareforceConsent source, opt-outs and the reason for each skipped member go back to you

Texts also answer HELP with your program's contact details.

Customers can sign in to read the healthcare TCPA rules.

Not legal advice

Your organization owns the consent language. Talk to your counsel about your program.
